LOVE

Two post in one day. Definitely a PB! I couldn't resist though. I'm a photographer and I have had the cutest family photos for months and this huge wall saved for their presence FOREVER!! I threw a baby shower for my sister in-law and everyone was teasing me about my lack of photos on my wall. pitiful. I know. to which I answer:

TAHHHH DAHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!

Perfect timing considering I hung them last night, and today our house is officially up for sale.

i know.

R&R

What a relaxing time for me. Four big brown eye staring with envy. just staring. Then the splashing.

every time.

how relaxing.

I survived Christmas

Man, it's been forever. Got a little burnt out, and something has got to give right? It's just a shame it's my blog during such a nice time of year. Oh well.

Christmas was great. Porter has a new obsession. He has done this since he was a baby. He gets so fixated on a toy, theme, or topic, that it's all he wants to do, talk about, dream about, and have you do the same as well. When he was 18montns it was keys. If anyone came over, he had to have their keys. Even company, everyone had to give up their keys. We never worried he would loose them, they would never leave his hand until they, or we left. NEVER! I have pictures to prove it. What kind of parents would give him their only car keys and send him out play in the fun of fall leaves? Us. I knew he would never put them down, and thus never loose them. Pictures of him playing in the leaves, keys in hand.

His newest obsession has been planes. He going to be a pilot and fly me all over the world; not coached whatsoever ;) hehe. oh I hope!

Everyone knows of his obsessions because they are to intense and last months, it's impossible not to know. As a result, 5 planes of different colors and themes were unwrapped. Lego, gliders, zebra print, and I can't even remember the rest.

I had been working a lot getting wedding albums out from the summer, so once I was done I knew just the thing to treat him to. Aerospace Museum. All I had to do was show him the online pictures, and that's all that came out of him mouth for days.

So here we are, Porter's heaven on earth.

This one gets in because it's the only picture I'm in. Ever. ;)

First Fort

or is it tent? Porter is still deciding. As I type this, Seth and both boys are sitting in the fort eating chips. Since we made it, neither Corban or Porter have emerged.

This is happiness.

Telling the camel from the nativity set about how cool he is in his cool fort.

Santa is real

Can't you see it in Porter's face? This guy is the real deal. His hands were twisting and fumbling. Their eyes never left eachother's as Porter's only got bigger and bigger listening to Santa's voice. Anxiously he told Santa that he thought he was on the nice list. A red plane is the gift of choice.

I'm so glad I caught this on "tape" and "film".

I'm going to have to second the notion of the "nice list".

to do's

Photobucket
This is what I woke up to. My laundry basket in the corner of our room. Sadly I put Porter beside it so I could get the full effect of it's size. This is one of three laundry basket in the house. ugggh.
I found this joke about how to tell it's time to do the laundry:

You're wearing your last pair of underwear in the shower consistently.

We aren't quite at that point yet. Almost though.

Next I come down the stairs to get some breakfast in the boys and realize all the dishes I didn't do last night after an awesome roast beef Sunday dinner. yummmmm.... No wonder I didn't do them, I ate enough to put me in a comma for a week.

Then, as I'm doing this load of dishes, I look up to see Corban as happy as can be with cheerios stuck to his forehead. I still haven't watched him to see how he manages to do this every morning, but without fail, they are always there. Today there were only 2. It was a good morning.

Enough typing, I've got some work ahead of me... heheh
