can't stop starring

I haven't been able to stop looking at these photos since I took them. Something about them. The little expressions and moments caught. I will truely cherish them forever. And for so many reasons which I want to write for my own records and for my sweet Porter:

Photobucket

I love how chubby your fingers still are. I wish they could stay that way forever.
How you still have a double chin when you laugh.

Photobucket
I love how I can hear that giggle and belly laugh.
I love the dimple on the side of your chin.

I'd like to say I love how particular you are about planes and how the paper planes I carefully fold for you have to be perfectly symmetrical in order to win your honor of being played with, but I can't. It's drives my nuts. I'm not a paper plane machine.

BUT, I do love watching your imagination soar as you take flight of the deck.

How ridiculously cool you look here. When did you get this cool? And by cool, I mean double your age since the last time I looked?

I love how you wanted to hold my hand all night tonight and wake up next to me first thing in the morning. You made me feel like a good mom even though I lost my cool when cleaning the kitchen for the umpteenth time. I hate how many times a day I have to clean that kitchen.

I love the wisp of hair at the back of your head that bounces with you run. (Or fly through the back yard with your hands at a perfect 90degree angle).

I love those moments when I just can't stop starring.

Aww, and I love Porter's run that has never changed since he was a baby- chest forward with arms pointed straight behind him. I love that little guy!
